Dahlonega Plateau, North Georgia Mountains Fall color road trip November 2020 We glamped at the Barefoot Hills Hotel just outside town in an adorable cabin room with antique tub and comfy queen sized bed surrounded by trees, fire pit, rocking chairs, hammocks and a green egg for grilling. In town Twenty Seven on Park is a step away from all the restaurants and shops for a different, but no less beautiful option. Our first winery was the award winning Wolf Mountain Vineyards. This winery is set a top the mountain and is also a wedding venue. With my trusty hot pink #winedrinkinghat we did two flights here and watched the sun go down. The Claret 2015 was our favorite. Dinner that night was at the Bourbon Street Grille for their redfish. Day two started with a tasting at the Alpine Olive Tree where I challenge you to narrow it down to less than 10 oils or balsamic vinegars.
